All day outside

Today Grandpa came all the way from the farm and he brought his tractor with him.  They pulled the trees away from the vineyard.  I was outside all day supervising them. 

Treats from Buddy

Jean has a friend named Kathy.  Kathy has a dog named Buddy.  She actually has 4 dogs but one of them is Buddy.  Buddy runs with Kathy.  He is really good runner and gets to go to races sometimes.  This weekend he went to a race and got lots and lots of treats.  He sent me some.  I like treats.

Weekend at the Farm

Friday we packed our bags and headed to the farm.  You will never believe who was there.  Charlie!  My half brother Rusty lives there all the time but Charilie was visiting for the weekend also.  It was stormy so I had to go into the back porch.  I wanted to play in the rain with the other dogs but the humans wouldn't let me.  They know I get scared of thunder and try to run away from it.  It is very hard to run away from thunder.  They didn't have the door closed tight so I was able to push the door open and play with the other dogs anyway.

Saturday was a special day.  All the humans went to a big birthday party for Grandpa.  I would have liked to go because I just love Grandpa.  He feeds me canned dog food and bones.  I had to be locked on the back porch and this time the human figured out they need make sure the door is latched closed.  Saturday night Charlie slept on the back porch with me and Rusty had to be tied in the garage.

Today we packed up and headed home.  We stopped at Sand Creek vineyard on the way home.  I get to run around there because the owner likes dogs.  I was tired and slept most of the way home.

When we got home I helped Jim outside while Jean went and took a long run then Jim gave me a bath and washed my bed.  Now I am clean and fluffy.

Helping Jim

Today I helped Jim outside.  We a planting bushes and trees.  First he cuts down some old bushes and trees then he plants new ones.  I chew on sticks.  I love being outside helping Jim.

Another Thursday

On Thursdays Jim goes to work all day.  Jean spends all day working in her office.  At lunch time we went outside and she threw the tennis ball for me.  Then I helped her clean leaves out of the fish pond.  When she was done working she took me for a walk.  I saw my friend Sammy and we chased each other around the yard.

So tired

This morning when we got up it was raining again.  The sun came out in the afternoon so Jim and I worked outside.  Jim is planting some bushes and trees.  I help him by fetching sticks.  Then Jim and Jean took me to the Rock Hollow Trail for a run.  The Rock Hollow Trail is paved so we won't get muddy.  I had pork for dinner.  I was so tired after my busy day I needed a nap.

Goodbyes

This morning TJ, Pat and I slept in.  It was nice snuggling with them.  They packed their bags and loaded all their stuff into their car.  They did not take me with them this time.  I don't know when I will see them again.  It rained all day here.  I have mentioned before that I don't like storms.  Seriously - I don't like thunder.  It is very scary.  I need to stay close to Jim and Jean when it is stormy.
