A Beautiful December Day

Today it was very warm.  After a breakfast of dog food with a little turkey on top, I helped Jim and Jean around the house.  We went to the trail and ran almost 5 miles.  We stopped at the river twice so I could get a drink.  Jim had a bowl and water in the car for me so I could get another drink when we were done running.  When we got back to the house Jean did the most peculiar thing.  She put on her water shoes and stood in the pond.  She was trimming the plants that grow on the bottom.  I am not allowed to swim or walk in the pond.  I leave the pond alone unless I am outside and want a drink of water.  Jean and I spent the afternoon on the screen porch.  It was so nice outside.
