Late Dinner

This morning Jean was working.  I helped Jim outside with the fishpond.  We are fixing a pipe that burst over the winter.  I am keeping track of the tennis balls.  After lunch Jim and Jean left and were gone past my dinner time.  I was home alone and starving.  They finally came home and gave me dinner.  I only weigh 58 pounds.  My goal weight is 55 pounds.  I thinks I am the perfect weight right now but Jean thinks I need to lose more.

Party Time

Yesterday we had a big party.  Jean's sister came all the way from Idaho for a visit.  The family came so everyone could see her.  Jen and John came and picked up Charlie at the end of the day.  Charlie and I had to be on the deck when everyone ate.

Saturday with Charlie

Today Jim went to work and Jean went to the Botanical Garden.  Charlie and I were home alone a long time.  I was happy Jim came home to feed us dinner.  Then Jean came home and we all went out to the vineyard.  We also played some tennis ball.

Here we are helping Jean.  Charlie like to lay on my quilt in the office.  I like to lay in the hallway where I can monitor the whole house.

My day with Charlie

Charlie was here all day long.  Charlie likes to be close to humans.  I like to be close to my humans but I give them some space.  Charlie likes to sit on their feet or lean against them.  He also like to lick Jean's elbow when she is sitting at her desk.  Charlie sleeps in the kitchen with me.  He is a good sleeper and doesn't bother me.

Today I was outside helping Jim and guess who came?  John and Charlie showed up.  John dropped Charlie off and left and now I have to help Jim and dog sit Charlie too.  It is hard working keeping track of Charlie.  Today we helped Jim with the pond.  Over the winter a pipe froze and broke and now the waterfall doesn't work right.  Jim is taking it apart so he can fix the pipe.

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to TJ and Pat.  They have been married three years.  I was the most important part of the wedding.  I was the best dog.  That is much more important than the best man because I was responsible for the wedding rings.  I carried them up the aisle to TJ and Pat.

Today I helped Jim outside.  He is putting up a deer proof fence.  Last year's fence was not deer proof.
