More running

In the winter the days are short.  It is too dark to run at night. Jean like to run during her lunch break.  Today Jim and Jean and I went and ran through the neighborhood at lunch.  After that I needed a nap.

The Farm

Yesterday we went to the farm.  Tiffany was there.  She brought Dale and Tammy with her.  Charlie was there too.  He brought Jen and John.  We all helped Grandma and Grandpa put up Christmas lights and the tree.  Then Jim, Jean, Jen, John and I went to the St. Francis River.  I got to ride in Jen and John's new van.  Jen and John kayaked and the rest of us hiked.  We went back to the farm and spent the night.  Today we went back to the St Francis River again.  This time Charlie came with us.  We hiked while Jen and John kayaked.  Then we came home.  It was a busy weekend.

 When we are at the farm I keep track of the people by looking in the door.  I sleep on the back screened in porch at night.

 I took a little swim.  I wasn't supposed to get wet and dirty but it was too tempting

 Sometimes Jim has to help me up and over the big boulders.

Early Saturday

We were up early this morning.  I like early mornings because I like my breakfast.  Jim and Jean went for a race.  I have been their running coach.  The ran really fast and were home in no time.  Now we are going to have a fun Saturday.

Helping Jim Outside

Today I helped Jim outside all day.  We worked on the wood and the leaves.  I love spending the day outside with Jim.

All the Work

I have to do all the work around here.  I was outside helping Jim with his woodpile.  He cuts and stack the wood and I chew on sticks.  Then Jean came outside all dressed to run.  I was perfectly happy with laying in the sun with my stick but Jean wanted me to run with her.  We went for a run through the neighborhood.  I did get to see my friend Sammy.  Then when we got home Jean realized she left the baggie with my poop at the top of the hill.  Sometimes she sets it there so she doesn't have to carry it through the whole subdivision.  She made me walk all the way back up the hill to get the baggie.  I was not happy about that.  It was lunchtime and I wanted my cookie.  I pulled on the leash and sat down in the street and stared at her.  She made me go anyway.  Finally we got home and had lunch.  In the afternoon I helped Jim.  He clean out the pond and cut down the dead plants in the garden.

Christmas Lights

I helped Jim outside with Christmas lights today.  Now the house is decorated inside and out.  Santa can come and bring me presents!

Peanut Butter

I have been on a diet for two years.  I am a very healthy weight.  Once in a while I get a special treat.  Today the peanut butter jar was empty.  I got to lick it out.  I love, love, love peanut butter.

 

 

I took Jim and Jean for a run in the neighborhood at lunchtime.  Jim and Jean run.  I am usually just walking fast until we run downhill then I run.

 

 

 

I helped Jim with lights.  We put up lights outside.  The house is decorated for Christmas.  That means that TJ and Pat can show up any time and bring me presents.
