Thunder

Today I spent the day outside helping Jim get the vineyard ready.  Then I helped Jean clean out the pond.  At the end of the day Jean went to take a run and I was staying real close to Jim.  Jim did not know it but there was thunder in the distance.  I know when a storm is coming long before Jim does.  Everyone knows that thunder is very scary because the sky might fall in - seriously.  I do not like storms.

Springtime at last

It has been warm the last couple of day.  I helped Jim outside all day.  Jean went for run then she had a party to go to.  We have seen the fish in the pond the last couple of days.  When it is cold they just hang out under the rocks.  I like to get a drink from the pond.

Home Alone

I just love it when Jim puts on his work clothes and boots.  That means that I get to spend the day outside helping him.  Sometimes I let him throw a stick for me and sometimes I just like to sit and watch him.  I got to spend most of the day outsdie with Jim.  We came in and Jim gave me my dinner early, then Jim and Jean went out for the evening.  That was okay with me because I sleep most the evening anyway.  I am always happy when they come home.  I will be waiting for them by the door with a toy in my mouth.  The first thing they say is, "drop it."  I am not allowed to take me toys oustside because I tend to lose them.

Muddy Feet

Today I helped Jim outside for most of the day.  Jim had to come in and get ready to take some pictures.  Apparently he needs to take a shower before he can take pictures.  This gave me time to take a quick nap.  Next Charlie and Jen came.  Charlie usually brings John with him also but John was out of town.  We all went to the trail for a run.  It was so much fun.  At the end of the run we got to walk down to the river and get a drink of water.  We got our feet muddy in the process.  When we got home we had to have our feet wiped off then we had to wait on the deck until they dried off.  It was nice outside so we didn't mind.

An outside day

I spent most of the day outside with Jim.  There were some men who take care of the grass along the street.  I took my stick to one of them and he threw it for me.  I have learned that men really like throwing sticks. I love chasing sticks so it works out well.  Jean took me for a short walk.  It was a good day.

Voting Day

Can you believe it is 2013 and they still haven't given dogs the right to vote?  Jean went for a vote and brought me a sticker.  If I could vote I would vote for more parks and trails.  I would also vote for a law that would require people to feed their dogs lunch everyday.  It's a long time between breakfast and dinner.

A fun walk

Today Jim went to work.  Jean took me for a walk through the neighborhood.  First we saw Maddie.  Maddie is just a puppy but she is the biggest puppy I have ever seen.  She is a great dane and she is very friendly.  Then I saw my friend Sammy.  I get to run around Sammy's yard and play with her.  Her owner even threw a ball for us.  Sammy is a very fast runner.  She gets to the ball first then runs around with it in her mouth.  She doesn't understand if you bring it back then they will throw it again.
